Image of TV for PC 2009 TitaniumSatelliteSoft is the official, exclusive distributor and licensed to sell all three Satellite TV for PC Editions (Pro, Elite & Titanium). With many years of success in the Internet TV software industry, their editions, especially the Elite and Titanium, have become the most sought after software Worldwide.

We discovered that not only do you get the best quality and high tech, but the
Satellite TV for PC 2009 Titanium also offers more quantity (# of channels) than its other editions. It has more Worldwide appeal and popularity than its competitors which brings us to its price $100.00 USD--a bit high you might think, yet you get the best of the rest.

The first thing to note when using a broadband Internet connection and software to access free media online is they don’t live in a perfect world. In other words, broadband Internet television/video and using software to harness the power of the Internet (with all its free media) are still considered to be in their baby-stages but continue to improve.

The next thing to note here is no software, if it’s legal, and no matter what the claim may be, decodes or descrambles Satellite and Cable TV channels and delivers them for free to your PC. That would be illegal. Essentially, you get the next best thing to Satellite and Cable with some interesting perks.

What we found particularly interesting doing our 2009 Titanium Edition review is it comes in four different parts as follows:
  1. All-in-One Member's Area: Here is where the complete setup begins to creating your own computer Internet TV system within minutes. Simple instructions includes, but not limited to, the following: Free software for downloading--if your PC requires them; Downloading the vendor's (SatelliteSoft) 3rd party Satellite TV for PC 2009 Titanium Player; And bonuses--additional free software for improved Internet media enjoyment and links to tons of additional entertainment

  2. Hi-tech PC Satellite TV player: Pre-loaded with 1000s of live, on-demand, premium and HDTV channels from across the globe. You get instant access to new and old entertainment from 78+ Countries. This also includes 1000s of radio stations, music, videos, sports, TV shows/episodes, news, and many more from your homeland. Feature enhancements include: Play; Stop; Volume; Adjustable/Full Screen; Favorites; Add Channels; Update Channels Online; Channel Actions (for grading media); Sort by Category, Channel, etc.; Favorites; Help (includes some troubleshooting instructions)

  3. Lifetime Membership: Adds more value to the software in itself when providing free on-going software upgrades, channel updates and tech support. The support keeps your software like-new while staying current as technology changes along with the forever changes in free Internet media content that comes and goes

  4. Bonuses: Access to links (TV player downloads) and targets all the popular Internet media websites with 1000s of additional free channels, radio stations, music, videos, etc., giving you the best the Internet has to offer. And free software that can record videos and them to burn DVDs, upload to an iPod, etc.

When putting everything in perspective during our Satellite TV for PC 2009 Titanium review, we found the software helps newbies save time and effort when searching for free Internet media manually. Getting started comes quite easy as it only takes downloading and installing the Titanium software which takes within 5 minutes, then pointing and clicking your way to Internet television channels, radio stations and videos.

The PC Satellite TV 2009 Titanium player is one of the best when it comes to hi-tech, video quality and performance. Navigating the helm comes quite easy and requires no Satellite TV for PC user guide.

We found the entire process of setting up a computer Internet TV system to be very simple with an user-friendly interfacing that is second to none. SatelliteSoftwrae (vendor) remains true to consumer as it continues to remain top-of-the-line technology.

Everything is well though out which makes very newbie-friendly. The streamlining and organization of channels, stations and Countries, including feature enhancements wins over other top leading brands today. We especially like the “Update Channels Online” feature which lets you instantly update broken channel links by updating them directly from the vendor's database.

Some channels come and go, and when new ones are streamed to the Internet, you get first hand at them without ever having to search for them. You can see that time and effort is never wasted when searching the Net endlessly for popular and favorite channels. Everything is just a stroke of a key away.

Another feature we particularly like is the "Add Channel" which lets you add your channels. This allows you to personalize your PC Satellite TV player with additional favorite free media. There are more feature enhancements here than most other free and paid TV players. This in turn gives a thumbs up to enhancing more Internet TV entertainment which paramount to more enjoyment.

Of course, any experienced person can find his/her own free channels over the Net when putting in the time and effort without using paid software. But when considering just much entertainment is out there, we liked the idea that all work was already completed.

As for newbies, the Satellite TV for PC Titanium Edition lowers the curve and delivers everything you need from one location with ease and quickness.

Two Requirements to Setting Up Your Satellite TV for PC 2009 System:
  1. Use any Windows, XP or Vista desktop or laptop computer. We used an old 2004 Toshiba Satellite laptop to test the Titanium software to see if it would work, and it did. However, make sure you close all running programs including anti-virus when downloading the software. As this may cause the PC Satellite TV Titanium player not to work initially. See Satellite TV to PC How-To, PC Satellite TV Resources and PC Satellite TV and Recommended Software sections in the right column for more information

  2. Must have an Internet broadband or wireless connection. However, despite what you may have heard, using 56k modem or dial-up is not recommended. We recommend using an Internet broadband connection--DSL or High Speed connection at 512kbps or higher. Higher the connection speed, better the picture quality and overall performance

Note: Whether you have an old or new PC, you may want to test your computer’s compatibility with a free-trial software that’s similar to the Titanium. You do this prior to paying the one-time fee to download the Titanium. With the free-trial software, you can check to see if the video and audio works when watching channels on your PC.

If everything works well enough, then remove the free-trial software from your hard drive or keep it, then purchase the Titanium Edition. See How To Test PC Satellite TV Software When No Free Trial Exist

The technology that was put into the Satellite TV for PC 2009 Titanium delivers good to very good picture quality. Although some channels were not as good, but very viewable nevertheless. For instance, when watching a favorite NBA ballgame such as the Philadelphia 76ers, we were pleased with the viewing--although not perfect. And the same was true with the other entertainment when viewed on our laptop.

So it’s fair to say one of the downfalls is not all channels and videos will have the highest quality. But many of them will have better quality than most. Remember, as we said earlier, higher the connection speed--better the quality and overall performance. This comes at an additional expense with increasing the connection speed with your Internet provider.

Our connection speed is normally around 600-700 kbps and we use Verizon DSL. The picture quality and performance looks pretty good overall. And better than some of the other 3rd party TV players (free and paid) that are available today.

We also think the paid software (more so than downloading free software) offers greater value in the long run. We tested both free and paid TV players and concluded the free versions don’t give you the support needed, updates and doesn't offer the best of Internet entertainment.

If you value having the next best thing to Satellite/Cable TV, the Satellite TV for PC 2009 Titanium Edition does deliver. We dare not tell you--you will receive all or some of the paid premium Satellite/Cable TV channels coming from Comcast, DirecTV, or other paid networks. However, free-HBO, free-ESPN and many other free channels found on paid television network can be accessed.

When paying the small one-time to download the Satellite TV for PC Titanium Edition--we believe is money well spent when gaining quick, easy access to a free library of channels, stations, and videos from across the globe. You can watch most of your favorite episodes on your PC that was aired the day before on your home TV.

Our favorites were CSI, Fringe, Terminator, Family Guy, The Simpson’s, Bones and many others. You can even watch other channels such as CNN, BBC, and 1000s more from the US, Canada, UK, Australia, Asia, Middle East, European and 70+ other Countries.

The bottom-line is: If you love variety TV and all kinds of entertainment or are bilingual/multilingual/learning a new language or want to use the Titanium software to watch TV on your laptop when traveling or connect to a television set, you have the necessary tools to do so quickly. As for the latter, to connect to a TV set--See How To Connect Your PC To TV Using Video Cables and Adapters

Overall, we found the Titanium software to be a newbie-helper that helps you setup the entire process to creating an computer Internet TV system of your choice--desktop, laptop or connect to a TV set. There is nothing to fear that can harm your PC. However, we do recommend installing anti-virus and spyware/adware software on your computer for added protection when visiting different media websites.

The PC Satellite Titanium TV player including all-in-one member’s area are second to none when it comes to gaining instant access to tons of Worldwide entertainment. And of course, no monthly fees or installing hardware has its benefits as well.
